Business Development for Coated Textiles

Triton Systems, Inc. is looking for a qualified and motivated individual who will create new business and sales opportunity for Triton's Invexus family of coatings into textile markets. (see http://www.assetcoating.com for details)

Recently, Triton launched the Invexus™ brand of high performance, durable, conformal, nanothin coatings - deposited via our patented atmospheric pressure plasma liquid deposition technology. For more information visit www.assetcoating.com

Working with other team members in the company, you will be responsible for planning and implementing the strategy for generating new business opportunities for our Invexus coatings. Initial target is the US textile market including military garments, medical and hygiene textiles, sportswear, filtration and membranes.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years experience in technical textile industry
  • Good understanding and experience with supply chain and procurement of military textiles
  • Proven record of identifying new market opportunities for new products/technologies
  • Working experience with developing and/or marketing new coatings for textiles is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Willing to travel to customer sites.  Must have a valid Driver's License.
  • No relocation near Triton facilities necessary
  • Base Salary with Commission

Process Control Engineer

We currently have an opening for a Process Control Engineer to support in our Advanced Materials Products & Systems (AMPS) group.  The successful candidate will be involved in all stages of our manufacturing process to support the transition of the aluminum composite casting technology from prototype to production quantities. 

Desired experience includes the following:

  • Five + years experience in a manufacturing environment. 
  • Bachelor of Science in an engineering or science discipline
  • Hands-on experience in one or more of the following aluminum processes: casting, forging, machining, and heat treating. 
  • Experience with ISO 9001 quality systems in a production environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings & blueprints. 
  • Ability to use various measurement tools such as dial calipers, micrometers, laboratory scales.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel for record upkeep and data logging.
  • Familiarity with SolidWorks

Responsibilities include:

  • Work with fibers, solvents, and aluminum to produce composite structures
  • Working with foreman to schedule production line
  • Work with Engineering Team to scale-up and automate process
  • Interface with vendors for heat treating and machining
  • Process troubleshooting and implement continuous improvement procedures
  • Follow and generate work orders and record process parameters.
  • Perform technical and record-keeping duties in conformance with company and regulatory policies to meet quality, safety and accuracy requirements
  • Local travel to various manufacturing sites
