Three Area Universities Awarded $12.4 Million Nanomanufacturing Grant Award

September 22, 2004 - The National Science Foundation today announced a $12.4 million grant, over five years, for a new nanoscale science and engineering center – a collaboration between the University of Massachusetts Lowell, Northeastern University and the University of New Hampshire, along with industry partners.

Dr. George Kachen of Triton Systems, Inc. is Industrial Advisory Board Chair for the new nanocenter.
