Variable Light Transmission Electrochromic Technology
The Triton electrochromic technology provides the capability to vary optical light transmission through a wide contrast range at the user's discretion. This technology is useful for applications where there is a need to vary the degre of light transimission, such as going rapidly from shadow to sunlight.
Triton Systems has developed unique, patented electrochromic technology based on conductive polymers that change from a clear to a colored state when a small DC voltage is applied. This technology can be applied to thin flexible plastics, or to rigid or complex shaped glass or plastics.
Compared with other electrochromic technologies, the Triton architecture provides important benefits that include:
